Hello to you both. Hope all is well at your end.
Just been re-reading your books on self-publishing. I now have a website under construction through Host Bee. It's pretty ambitious on my part, so it's taking a bit of time. I have 2 books out on Amazon under my own imprint, 'Toy Soldier Press' and have 3 more getting readied to go live. Also working with Clive from our group to go to print through Createspace.
I did the the 3 Day, my fifth one in a row and got a pretty good start on a novel. Finished this story at about 27,000 words, so it wasn't my longest, but it seemed to be one of the easier ones to write. And I really agree with your comment on having a solid outline. I found that the one year I went with a rough outline that I ran out of ideas/plot line before I got the story done. I had to quit writing to rough out my last dozen chapters - this on Monday evening around 6 o'clock. But it's a fun project. A number of us will going in on the NANOWRIMO in November. Take care,

This was so helpful, Crystal. I hadn't considered how difficult it might be to convey my ideas to both a designer and a programmer -- your video is a wonderful solution. And thank you for the link to the NSA -- something else I had not considered.

Hi Ian,

Are you in Victoria? We've not scheduled the next Island workshop yet but we'll definitely keep you posted. We're currently working on converting all our workshop material to video tutorials and e-books as well - so keep your eyes on the site over the next month or so to see some big changes!

Hi there,
Luv to attend your workshop/seminars. Do you have any planned for fall 2010? Perhaps they are listed and I've not found them. Sorry if that's true. Please advise.
Many thanks.

We're pretty excited about it all! We're working on putting some of the content into a web tutorial format, so if you can't make the workshops then that might be a good option for you. Make sure you sign up for our newsletter - we'll keep you posted about new developments. Hopefully we'll see you there...
